Gah!
So I really can’t decide on the flavor of my blog for the life of me. So here I am back at the original which I probably should have stuck with. Only issue now is the fact that I won’t be a tree come 4.0. This makes me sad in so many ways.
Yes I know I’m late to the party on this one, but I had been looking over the prospective talent tree for resto druid in 4.0 and it made me sick. Improved tree of life will increase damage the druid does while in tree of life form? What the hell is this crap? If I wanted to do damage as a caster druid I have my boom-lazor-chicken form for that. Tree is for heals, not dps. Blizzard can take their new healer design for druids and shove it up their collective assholes. While I wouldn’t mind useing some of my other spells a bit more often *coughhealingtouchcough* revamping the entire way we play is bad. It took me long enough at the start of wrath to get off of the lifebloom spam that had dominated BC. I can’t imagine how long it’ll take me to adapt (or how many dead tanks in instances) to their new ideas. here’s hoping I get into the beta so I have some time to practice before I end up with the real deal.

I’m going to have to redo my theme somehow, too. Maybe I’ll keep it for nostalgia’s sake.. or just add new elements.
Grr
Yea, its sad
They’re not really revamping the entire way we play. They’ve said the goal is to give each of our heals a niche, so we use more than just rejuv/WG 80-90% of the time. I think that’s a good thing, and I find a lot of the new/modified talents very interesting.
To some degree, all healers will be going through a change in play style because of the increased health levels of the raid and (apparent) danger of running out of mana.
As far as the tree-form dps bit, I’m pretty sure it’s aimed at PVP.
